What’s going on @ JT Autosports
We have recently had many projects going on in the shop the past couple months. We have successfully rebuilt 2 automatic transmissions for Honda Odysseys. These vans are known for their common problems with their transmissions. John and the technicians have also successfully rebuilt a diesel motor for a Ford F350 dually turbo, while overcoming a headstud that had been broken in the block from the previous owner.
We have had a wide-variety of makes and models in our shop, both domestic and import. We hope to see this continue, because we are not just an import speed shop, but your local automotive repair facility that can do anything from oil-changes, brakes, alignments and inspections, to full out rebuilds and swaps.
We have also added another lift to the shop that will help accommodate longer projects that may need to be on the lift longer, without hindering our day to day jobs that are in and out. This gives us a total of 5 lifts in the shop to keep our progression constant. We hope in adding to our business, that we can better serve your needs.
Next time you come in, stop and look around. Our showroom may look a little different, a little bigger, a little bluer. We have added a couch in hopes that you, are customers may be a little more comfortable while you wait for your vehicle to be serviced and a soda-machine just in case you get a little thirsty. Kansas City IFO – update
First round qualifying at Import FaceOff in Kansas City was eventful for the JT Auto Crew. After doing a burn out and going up to the line, John launch and broke all four wheel studs off his front passenger side and the slick went rolling away. He just couldn’t recover from that. All and all, it was a first time experience for our crew, the track and the IFO series in general.
This is the end of our racing season for 2011. Hopefully 2012 will come soon with a better outcome. Stay tuned for information on IFO series events for 2012. Below are some pictures of IFO for the JT Autosports.
Kansas City IFO – October 9th, 2011
Next weekend, Sunday, October 9th, 2011 is Kansas City’s Import FaceOff at KCIR. Come join us in supporting this series and continue to have it visit our city twice a year. Below is the flyer for $2 off admission at the gate. You may print it out and present it at the gate for you discount.

A/C Service & Window Tinting

Vegas IFO – 9.31@161 (2:14 video)
John’s 2nd Round Elimination run against Kaizenspeed. He laid down a 9.31 @ 161 giving him a win. The video of the run is above starting at (2:14).
He made it to Semi-Finals, but due to some the spark plugs fouling out, the car shut off after the burnout and would not start again. It was all and all a great event with nice cars, good and close races, and one long trip there and back. John laid down his personal best in Vegas, and hopefully it will continue in Kansas City and wherever he will travel to next!
VEGAS IFO: May 15th, 2011
Show some support to the IMPORT FACE-OFF Series and attend this event in Las Vegas, NV. John and the JT Auto crew is truck and trailering “Rosaline” the red hatchback there as this moment. The remaining crew and FlatLine Racing family is flying there. So please give them good vibes on this long road trip. If you can’t attend, show John some support by bringing your car for service at our shop. As he is gone, the shop is still open to continue to provide our customers service.

Pics of Noble IFO this past weekend!
It was our first time out in the past 7 months with our new setup. It was more of a test and tune adventure in the midst of racing this season for us. We had some trouble, but through it, John pulled a win during 1st round Eliminations before blowing his head gasket.
On our way home from OKC to KC, we had problems with our truck. Broke down at a rest area 2 hours from KC, but finally made it home at 9am… just in time to open the shop! While waiting to be towed home truck and trailer…. a semi about 300 yards from us caught on fire. It was just one of those weekends.
